Student groups available through the Counseling Center. Small groups of students will meet once a week for 4-6 weeks during school hours (during Study Hall if available) to get special help in the following areas.
Stress 101
Introduce tools and techniques which can help teens deal with stress and develop lifelong habits of health and wellbeing.
Study Skills 101
Introduce a variety of helpful techniques to address: organization, study habits, learning styles, testing taking, prioritization and much more.
Girls Group
Empower girls to prepare young women to become future leaders. This group focuses on self-esteem development, positive body image, confidence building activities and much more.

Suicide is a complex public health issue that requires coordination and cooperation among health care providers, individuals and family members, and treatment services and the community. Suicide is preventable. If all of us work together, we can increase the public’s awareness of this public health issue and get people the support they need.
