A lot of fun seeing the ideas and costumes the students come up with the have some fun with Halloween.
It is so fun to walk into the library and see our history teachers playing a game designed around the 13 colonies about monarchy, providing the students an opportunity to experience what it was and how it felt.
It is so fun to be invited into classrooms, even if I become part of the science experiment. Thanks, Mr. Wadsworth, for the engaging lessons and the invite.
Thank you to the Principal's Committee for serving all of our students who participated in the MAP rewards ice cream party.

Going into Mrs. Pace's science class was entertaining as the students worked with microscopes to look at algae and moss. Mr. Neal helped set the microscopes up to Chromebooks, and the students could project their slides onto the big screen. Hands-on labs that engage the students in their learning create a great learning environment!
Going into Manufacturing Tech class, it was great to see how the students operated the tools and showed pride in their projects as they developed them and worked together. Mr. Smart works hard to provide projects that challenge the student's intellect but also provide the students with fun and entertainment. The students in Construction Tech built cars, raced them, and jumped them today. The students use a math formula to determine how fast their car would be if it were an actual vehicle. They followed up the activity with a writing assignment about the process they used to create their cars. Way to pull in multiple content areas to demonstrate student learning while having a lot of fun!
Things that brought a smile this week…12/18
When our thoughtful students bring cookies to share!
When we are invited in to the counseling center to be serenaded with holiday songs by our GYC!
When I capture our SRO playing football with our students.
Mrs. Fry was honored by VFW Post 1695. She is their nominee for the VFW national citizenship education teacher of the year. This award is for teachers who fosters the development of democratic values in the classroom.
Mr. Runyan's class set off rockets in the hallway and tried to hit the admin. for extra points. It was fun to see their efforts and how far the rockets would fly.
We want to thank the district for painting and preparing our commons area for our students this year. Our custodians just finished hanging the vinyl bear head and Bear River sign. The joy around the commons is evident in the bear culture and students' activities during lunch and before and after school.
Seeing yourself twinning with teachers and students is always a fun surprise. We have the best faculty, staff, and studentbody.
It was a great day watching our students participate in the food trucks. They worked hard to earn this incentive. It's fun to see them rewarded for their efforts GO BEARS!

It's amazing to see the support our Bears of the month received from our community. This last week has been our fundraiser and we deeply appreciate our PTSO for organizing and carrying out the fundraiser. Our students on the Principal's Committee did a fantastic job making posters and are willing to help out wherever needed. Our 8th grade ended up winning donuts as a treat on Monday.
Walking into the library in the morning is a treat! It's awe-inspiring to see the excitement around reading and all the new books. Mrs. Roberts does a fantastic job keeping our library stocked with books of interest. It's so fun to see all the excitement from the kids!
A big thank you to our counseling department, student council, employee volunteers, and community stakeholders who spent time organizing and contributing to our clothing swap. Mrs. Rose organizes this event each year and couldn't do it without the many volunteers! Thank you everyone!
